OUR HISTORY

Our church story begins when a group of people gathered together in the early 1960s for a weekly Bible study. After about  one year, it was decided to start a church, but what would the name be. Two names were put forth to a vote. And Cumberland Bible Church was chosen.

The church began meeting at the local YMCA, and it grew.

A church building became available for purchase and the church relocated in the late 1960s to the Wallace Street.

Because of some structural problems to the building, the congregation relocated in the early 1990s to its present location in South Cumberland.

Through the years the locations may have changed, but the message has not.

Cumberland Bible Church continues to be a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching, Bible- practicing church.

We invite you to come joins us.
